Basic Firearms Safety (1-Day Course)
This program satisfies the training requirement under HRS §134-2 for applicants seeking a Permit to Acquire a firearm.
The course focuses on handguns and includes instruction on:

• Safe handling, use, and storage of firearms
• Hawaii firearms laws and legal responsibilities
• Mental health and suicide prevention awareness
• Domestic violence laws and prohibited possessors

Participants who successfully complete this training will receive an affidavit of completion suitable for submission with a Permit to Acquire application.

Concealed Carry Program (2-Day Course)

This program satisfies the training requirement under HRS §134-9 for applicants seeking a License to Carry a pistol or revolver in the City and County of Honolulu.
Instruction covers:

• Firearms safety and handling
• Secure storage and transportation
• Hawaii laws governing use, possession, and concealed carry
• Situational awareness and conflict management
• Mental health, suicide prevention, and domestic violence considerations
• Live-fire proficiency qualification

Participants will receive an affidavit of completion upon successful demonstration of competency and understanding of the required topics.

Instructional materials are available in English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
